WINTER STORM ALERT

Snow Removal Notice – Borough of Woodland Park

In advance of the upcoming significant snowstorm expected to impact Woodland Park and the Northeast, the attached video is an important message from Mayor Tracy Kallert.

As we prepare for this storm, residents and property owners are reminded to review and comply with Borough snow removal ordinances to help ensure safe roadways, accessible sidewalks, and clear access for emergency responders and snow removal operations.

The attached video outlines key requirements related to:

  • Removal of snow and ice from sidewalks
  • Keeping fire hydrants clear and accessible
  • Temporary parking restrictions during snow plowing operations
  • Prohibition on placing snow into streets
  • Vehicle abandonment regulations

Your cooperation is essential in helping our Police, Fire, and DPW personnel safely respond and maintain operations throughout the storm.

**Please follow all snow removal rules and regulations as we prepare for the impending storm.**

If you have not already done so, please register for the Borough’s new Reverse 911 emergency notification system, WP-Alert. Weather-related updates and important information regarding this storm will be distributed through this system. You can sign up here: https://wpnj.us/wp-alert
