P.V. Regional Flood Control Board
The Board is charged with the overall management of the surface water of the Passaic River and the Peckman River Basins. To do so, its members review potential acquisition, construction, financing, improvement, maintenance and operation of flood control facilities and make recommendations to the governing bodies of Little Falls Woodland Park and Totowa, along with other officials.
Additionally, the Board shall jointly purchase, construct, improve, extend, enlarge or reconstruct flood control facilities on behalf of its member local units subject to the approval of the council or governing body of each of the member municipalities.
