The police department has received several complaints from residents that they are receiving phone calls from an organization claiming to be the “New Jersey Superior Officers Law Enforcement Association," looking for donations. There was even one incident where a resident stated that a man came to the house claiming to be a member of the NJSOLE asking for money. This is a scam.

If someone comes to your residence, please contact the Police immediately so they can properly identify the party and their so-called organization.

As a reminder, Woodland Park Policemen's Benevolent Association will only solicit you annually by mail. It does not solicit or endorse any solicitation over the telephone. Organizations and individuals claiming to represent the New Jersey State PBA or the Woodland Park Policemen's Benevolent Association over the telephone are not legitimate.
