1/14/2022 - Robert Githens joins the Borough as Constituent Services Aide

Welcome to Robert Githens, who has joined the Borough as Constituent Services Aide, working out of the Department of Public Works office. He takes over the new role from Pat Lepore, who has retired.

After serving as a police officer in a Chicago suburb, Bob began a new career with AT&T, working in sales, management, and operations. He was transferred to New Jersey and has been here 27 years. Prior to this position, Bob has served the last two years as our Borough park ranger.

Working to resolve issues residents have, Bob is the liaison between the resident and the DPW, Police Department, and/or Borough Administration as needed. He works to research and resolve issues that residents have, whether they are related to garbage, recycling, neighbor issues, and more. He's the point person for issue resolution.

In his downtime, he works to ensure Borough signs are clean and in good condition, and inspects Borough properties for any issues, among other things.

Bob can be reached at 973-256-1264 or rgithens@wpnj.us.
