Jackson Avenue Paving Notice – Monday, July 27th & Tuesday, July 28th

Paving will be conducted on these dates. There will be periods of time when residents cannot drive onto freshly paved roadway. Jackson Avenue residents who need to leave their homes on these dates are encouraged to move their vehicles to surrounding streets in advance.

THERE WILL BE NO PARKING ON JACKSON AND ROCKLAND AVENUE DURING THESE TWO DAYS. Please adhere to the Emergency No Parking signs posted on Jackson Avenue and Rockland Avenue. A major traffic detour will be in effect starting at 10:00 AM each day. The detour route is marked in yellow on the map below.

Southbound (Jackson Avenue from Squirrelwood Road): • Turn onto Rockland Avenue • Turn right onto Woodrow Avenue • Continue back to Jackson Avenue

Northbound (toward Squirrelwood Road): • Turn onto Woodrow Avenue • Turn left onto Rockland Avenue • Continue toward Squirrelwood Road

CAUTION: Rockland Avenue will carry two-way traffic from 10:00 AM until paving is complete each day. Please drive slowly and use caution, as this is a residential, narrow roadway. Detours are subject to change based on construction progress.
