Holiday Festival & Parade Road Closure Announcement

Please be advised of the following road closures and heavy traffic conditions due to the upcoming Holiday Festival and Parade in Woodland Park:

Holiday Festival - Road Closure:

  1. McBride Avenue Closed: From the Intersection of McBride Ave. and Browertown Road to Dowling Parkway
  2.  Closure begins at 11:00 AM
  3. Closures end approximately 8:30 PM or until the parade route is cleared

 

Holiday Parade - Multiple Road Closures:

  1. Closure’s BEGIN at 4:45 PM
  2. Closure’s END approximately 8:30 PM or until the parade route is cleared

  1. McBride Avenue:
    1. At Ray Ave
    2. At Radcliffe Ave
    3. At Lackawanna Ave
    4. At Hughes Place
    5. At Bergen Blvd (Laundromat Side)
    6. At Passaic Ave
    7. At Memorial Drive
    8. At Ryle Park Ave
    9. At Pompton Ave
    10. At Whippany Ave
    11. At Bergen Blvd (closest to Chase Bank)
    12. At Neser Lane
    13. At Rose Place
    14. At Brophy Lane
    15. At Newby Ave
    16. At West 36th Street
    17. At West 35th Street
    18. At Hillery Street
    19. At Glover Ave
  2. Dowling Parkway:
    1. At Wallace Lane (closest to Chase Bank)
    2. At Lozrovich Place
    3. At Wallace Lane (closest to Hromiak Ter)
    4. At Hromiak Terrace (1)
    5. At Hromiak Terrace (2)
  3. Hromiak Terrace:
    1. At Filippone Way
    2. At Browertown Road
  4. Browertown Road:
    1. At Mt. Pleasant Ave
    2. At Lackawanna Ave
  5. Hillery Street:
    1. At Willow Way

Heavy Traffic:

  1. McBride Avenue, Lackawanna Avenue, Browertown Road and Mount Pleasant Avenue: Please anticipate heavy traffic congestion in these areas.
  2. Alternative Route: Residents are encouraged to use Rifle Camp Road as an alternative route to cross town and access highway routes.
