Starting Week of 8/5: 8:30 AM - 5 PM | NJ American Water Lead Service Line Replacement Inspections

ATTENTION NJ AMERICAN WATER CUSTOMERS:

Starting Monday, 8/5, representatives from CDM Smith, a NJ American Water authorized contractor, will begin inspecting water service connections in the homes of NJ American Water customers in Woodland Park.  The purpose of this project is to canvas the area to identify and document any lead water pipes that may be servicing our homes. 

Seven inspectors from CDM Smith / NJ American Water will begin in Area 1, which is identified on this map (PDF).  Each representative is expected to carry an official NJAW ID badge and will be wearing NJAW branded clothing. Inspectors will ask to enter your residence and will ask to see where water service enters your home.  Inspectors will photograph the service material and record the pipe material that is identified.  At no time will residents be asked for money.
