Welcome to the new public information center dedicated to the upcoming Squirrelwood Road / I-80 Overpass construction project.  Here you will find information and updates on this construction project as well as related detour information.   This page will be updated throughout the duration of the project as information is made available to the public.

 

CONSTRUCTION TO BEGIN FRIDAY, APRIL 5, 2024:

Formal construction on this overpass is scheduled to start on Friday, April 5, 2024.  Crews will be working Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 PM and 7:00 AM. 

Please seek alternate routes as construction detours and associated travel delays are expected through the duration of this project.

Please note, the NJDOT Virtual Public Information Center regarding this project expired on March 15, 2024.  However, we will provide our own updates here as information is provided to us.
