Municipal Court Judge Toni Belford Damiano was reappointed for a three-year term at the Feb. 20 Council meeting.  Damiano has been presiding since 2007.

Judge Damiano has practiced matrimonial and family-related law since 1984.  In addition to serving as Municipal Court Judge, Damiano is owner and senior partner of Damiano Law Offices in Little Falls.  A Little Falls resident, she was born and raised in Woodland Park.

Judge Damiano was sworn in by her son James, an associate at Damiano Law Offices and current Mayor in the Township of Little Falls.  The event took place 30 years and six days after she was initially sworn in to the Borough judicial post on Feb. 14, 1989 by her father James Belford.

"We very much appreciate your dedication and commitment," Mayor Kazmark said.  "It's amazing how life has come full circle tonight, with your son swearing you in."
