At the March 4 meeting, the Woodland Park Planning Board approved plans for Starbucks to construct a new coffee shop in the West Falls Plaza on Route 46 West, which includes andThat!, World Market, Planet Fitness and On The Border.

The building, which will be approximately 2,000 square feet, will be built in an area of the existing parking lot situated just beyond the entrance from the highway. Construction is expected to begin shortly for a likely fall opening.

This Starbucks location will have seating for approximately 35 and feature a drive-thru lane.

“Attracting Starbucks to Woodland Park has been a goal of mine since I was first elected in 2011," said Mayor Keith Kazmark. “We look forward to breaking ground and welcoming a great new commercial resident to our town.”
